Unchase helps businesses request documents from their clients. This policy explains what data we handle and why.
Unchase is operated by Muhammad Lukman Hakim Abdul Halim, Malaysia.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name and email address, provided through Google sign-in.
- Request data: your clients’ names and email addresses, checklist items, upload status, comments and reminder history.
- Google authorization tokens: stored securely so Unchase can act on your Drive on your behalf.
Google user data
Unchase requests access to Google Drive only to create client folders and to place files uploaded by your clients into those folders. We access only folders you choose and files uploaded through Unchase. We do not read, search, list or modify any other content in your Drive.
Files uploaded by your clients go directly to your Google Drive. Unchase does not store file contents on its servers.
Unchase’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security purposes, or to comply with law.
How we use information
To operate the service: creating requests, showing upload status, and sending reminder and digest emails. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
We use infrastructure providers to run Unchase, including hosting, database and email delivery services. They process data only on our behalf.
Retention and deletion
We keep request data while your account is active. You can disconnect Unchase from your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and you can ask us to delete your data by emailing hello@unchase.io. Files already in your Google Drive remain yours and are not deleted by us.
